Stickhead 7 on 7

It was a busy weekend with an early start at the pancake breakfast at Applebees in Middletown. Players left early to make their first game at Champions Park on River Road. What a mud pit! -there were several times the goalies had to pick the ball up to continue play. We had a great end to the weekend with the team picnic on Sunday afternoon. Thanks to all of the parents that made the weekend possible, and to the coaches for all of their time.
Where's Thomas?

Updates for the upcoming week... 10/10 - 10/18

We have a lot of things coming up this week:
Returning players ... sell your tickets for the pancake breakfast.  WHAS11 will be announcing the breakfast and Reed Yadon will broadcast from Applebees on Saturday morning.  All new players are more than welcome to join us.
The Stickhead 7 on 7 is next Saturday too.
Our team picnic is next Sunday.  Please RSVP on the wiki so we know our numbers.  If you didn't receive an invitation in the mail - please take a moment to update your contact information on the wiki - both players and parents.  Players - bring your equipment and come early for a little throw around time -
Don't forget that Mr. Wade and Coach Lee are forming an ACT study group.  Sign up on the wiki.

Ohio State 7 on 7

Thanks to all of the parents and players that traveled to Ohio State for a day of lacrosse - and to Coach Clifford for making the trip too -
Not only did the boys get several games in, but they got to watch some great games.
Our day started on turf, and then we were moved inside to the The Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The facility is one of the best indoor facilities of its kind in college athletics. It contains an indoor field which is 400 feet long, 220 feet wide and 65 feet high and is covered by All-Pro Turf. What an experience for the team. We finished the day with two games outside.
The first slide show is from Scott Wade - the second one is mine.
